fusion methods

The following pages summarize several approaches to the pixel level fusion of spatially registered input images. Most of these methods have been developed for the fusion of stationary input images (such as multispectral satellite imagery). Due to the static nature of the input data, temporal aspects arising in the fusion process of image sequences, e.g. stability and consistency, are not addressed.
